Garowe(Mogadishu24)-Puntland State President, Said Abdullahi Deni on Sunday completed his cabinet comprising of 21 Ministers, 21 deputies and 14 State Ministers after his re-election on January 8, 2024.

The President appointed 18 new Ministers out of 21 positions, leaving Ministers of Interior, Information and Security unchanged while women got three Ministerial positions according to Spokesperson of Puntland State House.

The names appeared in the list included members of President Deni’ opposition during the election this year, but is not clear yet whether they are satisfied with Ministerial positions given or not so far.

President Said Abdullahi Deni also announced in January that his administration will host the National Consultative Council meeting in Garowe, but it did not happen and it is not known what went wrong or whether the conflict with Federal Government still remains unsolved.
