Garowe(Mogadishu24)-Puntland State President, Said Abdullahi Deni on Monday received Swedish Ambassador to Somalia, Joachim Waern at the State House in the administrative capital, Garowe and discussed several issues mainly on politics, and development projects in the region.

“The meeting discussed the political issues of Somalia, the completion of democracy in Puntland and the development projects supported by Sweden in Puntland”, Spokesperson of the Presidency, Jama Daperani said on X after the meeting.

The meeting also focused on Putland State’s one person, one vote elections and the cooperation between Sweden and Puntland State according to statement released.
