Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Somali National Army backed by International Partners on Friday killed seven Al-Shabaab militants after conducting an operation at Fidow location near Mahaday district in Middle Shabelle region.

Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency said in a statement on Saturday morning that three commanders were among those killed in the operation.

Al-Shabaab did not comment on NISA claims over the operation in Mahaday district in Middle Shabelle yesterday, but instead it claimed for the responsibility of an attack in Kahda district in Mogadishu overnight. It said that its fighters killed six soldiers and injured three others.
