Security forces kill Al-Shabaab member, injure another in Mogadishu

Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Somali Security forces killed one Al-Shabaab member and injured other one after conducting an operation at neighborhood in Mogadishu’s Dharkenlay district Monday afternoon according to the officials.

The National Intelligence and Security(NISA) said that its forces foiled an attempt assassination in which these two militant fighters were going to kill an army officer at a mosque in the district, displaying a video footage of the injured member.

Al-Shabaab militants did not comment on the operation in the capital where it lost one while another wounded one captured alive so far. But the group often carry out secret deadly assassination in Mogadishu and other major cities in the country.
