Kismayo(Mogadishu24)-Somali National Army’s elite forces backed by International Partners killed more than 30 Al-Shabaab militants and injured others after conducting operation at areas near Jamama town in lower Jubba region southern parts of the country.

The State-run media reported Sunday that about 10 militant fighters were also captured during the operations.

Al-Shabaab militants claimed that its fighters killed 19 Government soldiers and injured 13 others at Baxar-Saafka and Wirkoy areas north of Kismayo city, the administrative capital of Jubaland State.
