Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is in Nairobi, Kenya, to participate in the 6th Session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA).The summit is expected to focus on “effective, inclusive, and sustainable multilateral actions” to combat climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution, sees world leaders coming together to address these critical issues.During his stay, President Mohamud plans to shed light on Somalia’s environmental challenges, particularly those arising from climate change, and to seek collaborative solutions for a sustainable future for his country.He will also discuss regional peace, stability, and sustainable development, highlighting the adverse effects of unilateral actions on these goals.The President is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with various heads of state and delegations to bolster ties and discuss potential cooperation on environmental matters.
