Doha(Mogadishu24)-President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sh. Mohamud on Monday arrived in Doha, Qatar after completing his two-day working visit in Cairo, Egypt and had fruitful talks with his counterpart, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and Al-Azhar leadership.

During this visit in Qatar, the president is expected to hold discussions with the Qatari leadership regarding recent developments in Somalia.

“H.E. President @HassanSMohamud has arrived in Doha, Qatar for a significant official working visit aimed at further enhancing bilateral relations between Somalia and the brotherly State of Qatar across various mutually beneficial areas. During this visit, the president will engage in discussions with the Qatari leadership regarding recent developments in Somalia”, Villa Somalia said.

The Somali President received full solidarity from his counterpart of Egypt, Sisi during a joint press conference over the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Somalia as Egyptian President said that Egypt won’t allow any threat to Somalia.

These developments come as Ethiopian Government and the breakaway republic of Somaliland entered into a port-deal, granting sea access to Ethiopia, a move angered by the Federal Government of Somalia.
