Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)- Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre on Sunday made reshuffle into his cabinet and appointed new ministers for key ministries including foreign and security.The current Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, Ahmed Moalim Fiqi was made to be Minister of foreign Affairs and International Cooperation while a member of Federal Parliament, Ali Yusuf Ali was appointed to be Minister of Internal Affairs.The Prime Minister appointed Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail Fartag as Minister of Internal Security and Mohamed Aden Moalim as Minister of Posts and Communications while appointing Abdullahi Bidhan Wasame as a Minister for Water and Energy.He also named Ahmed Omar Mohamed as State Minister for Environment and Climate Change. The Prime Minister did not appoint for the position of the Ministry of Women and Human Rights Development yet so far as the previous for this Minister, Khadija Diriye died in December 2023.Congratulations to Ahmed Moalim Fiqi on assuming the role of Somalia's Foreign Minister.
