Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Somali National Army backed by International Partners on Thursday killed over 70 Al-Shabaab militants at Tabar-Mooge area about 28 kelometers north of Harardhere town in Mudug region under Galmudug State in Somalia. Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism of Somalia said in a statement that the joint forces targeted three stations where they were regrouping and preparing explosives, saying the army destroyed all their vehicles into those areas.The statement added that the joint forces are still pursuing the Al-Shabaab militants, trying to escape to the forest zone.Al-Shabaab did not comment on the latest claims made by the Somali Government, but it said that its fighters launched attacks into Burundian forces under the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia(ATMIS) on Tuesday night, but it did not comment on if there were casualties.
