Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Amb. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi on Sunday received Suldaan Said Ahmed, the Special Envoy on Peace Mediation in the Horn of Africa for the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The two sides discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two friendly countries while addressing regional and international developments of shared interest, highlighting the commitment of both parties to collaborate on peace and stability initiatives.

Finland supports Somalia in areas of countering terrorism, humanitarian assistance and protection of gender based violences.
