Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-The Federal Government of Somalia on Monday hosted a two day East African Community, aiming to strengthen the regional cooperation and integration months after it became a full member of the regional bloc.The conference gathered over 300 participants from the Government, EAC representatives, diplomats, scholars, business entities and other dignitaries at the event in Mogadishu.“This is another great day within our long journey towards the membership of the East African Community, I reiterate to thank 7 countries which were in this market before us for welcoming us and stood side by side with us in joining the bloc within short time”, Somali President Hassan Sh.
