Ankara(Mogadishu24)-Acting Minster and State Minister for foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia, Ali Mohamed Omar on Sunday revealed that the two countries’ relations reached new levels of profound partnership.“The relationship between #Somalia and #Turkiye has blossomed into a profound partnership, showcasing a blend of diplomatic, economic, and security . The alliance is shaping the future of Somalia and enhancing Turkiye’s strategic presence in the Horn of Africa”, Omar said on X formerly twitter.The Minister’s comment comes a week after the two countries signed maritime security and and economic agreement.“The 10-year agreement will help develop the Somali Navy’s capacity to enhance maritime security, protect resources, and combat international terrorism, external threats, and illegal and unregulated activities in Somalia’s territorial waters”, President Hassan said at the time.
