Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-The Cabinet Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia approved important bills submitted by the Ministries of Health, Social Welfare, and Religious Affairs on Thursday.During their weekly meeting chaired by Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, the cabinet approved the Pilgrimage Bill and the Patients’ and Healthcare Workers’ Rights Bill, following proposals by the respective ministries.“Today, during their weekly meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, the cabinet Ministers approved the Pilgrimage Bill and Patients’ and Healthcare Workers’ Rights Bill,” the statement from the Office of the Prime Minister said.The cabinet ministers were presented with reports on the ongoing fight against Al-Shabaab, highlighting the achievements made by the National Army and the collaboration of the Somali people in countering the terrorist group.During the meeting, Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre also presented several reports covering topics such as security, economic development, and debt relief.The government of Somalia has recently prioritized the implementation of bills and agreements with other nations. In previous meetings, agreements with Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Ethiopia were approved, involving various areas, including trade, defense cooperation, and higher education.
