Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sh. Mohamud, Ex- Presidents, Sharif Sh. Ahmed and Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and Fomer Prime Ministers and other politicians congratulated Ugaas Yusuf Ugaas Hassan on his coronation as chief of Hawadle clan at Daru-Ugaas area near Halgan district in Hiiraan region Monday.

“I wish to take this opportunity to congratulate Ugaas Yusuf Ugaas Hassan Ugaas Khalif as many are celebrating his coronation day. May Allah continue to grant you good health and sustain you with higher wisdom. May your time of responsibility usher in peace and stability”, Former Prime Minister of Somalia, Omar Abdirashid Sharma’arke said on X.

Former President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed wished him to lead the community and succeed in maintaining the unity and solidarity of the Hawadle community and he good neighborliness based on peace and co-existence in the whole region of Hiiraan.

“I commend the intellectuals, elders, businessmen, religious men, youth and women of the Hawadle clan for the significant role they played in sacrificing their lives and property for the war against terrorist groups. I wish them all the success in their struggle to defend our Country, our People and our Religion”, Sharif said in a statement.

“It is my hope that today’s innaguration of Chief Elder of The Hawadle Clan, Ugaas Yusuf, will lead to peace and harmony among the wider communities living in the region, and that the Chief Elder Ugaas Yusuf will play a role in the development of the country and initiating a true reconciliation of the Somali people”, Sharif added.

Like other leaders, President Farmajo prayed for the crowned Ugaas Yusuf Ugaas Hassan to easily fulfill his duty, in order, to work restoring peace among all communities in the central Somalia.

“I have confidence in Ugaas Yusuf in following suit the existing culture for the 20th of his predecessors who were main pillars of being Somalia, peace and protection of the unity of Somalia”, President Farmajo said.

Ugaas Yusuf Ugaas Hassan became the 21st respected tribal chief of Hawadle Clan and among other Somali communities in the country and neighboring countries. His strong cultural coronation ceremony attracted all Somalis across the world as the colorful event happened in one of the areas where Al-Shabaab militants were rooted out by Macawisley, local forces with the Support of the Somali National Army in 2022 uprising in Hiiraan.
