Jigjiga(Mogadishu24)-Health Directorate of the Somali State of Ethiopia on Friday inaugurated a center for health data storage in Jigjiga city as part of efforts to improve health service system in the region.

State Minister for the Health, Muse Ahmed attended the inauguration of this key health data storage which would be the first to be implemented, theming “Developing the storage, receiving and delivering the health related data are measures to to improving the health service procedure”,

The center will hold different services like exploring accessible area for getting the data, collecting health information, quality control, data security, storing and data management, creating a system for a useful strategic plan in developing health service delivery.

According to the officials, the center is unique one equipped with modern tools aimed at storing the data.
