Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-The British Embassy in Somalia announced a donation of £2.75 million to the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS)-administered Trust Fund to bolster the Somali Security Forces (SSF) this week.This funding is designated for non-lethal support, including rations, communication equipment, shelter, and medical evacuation services, to aid in the fight against Al-Shabaab.“The UK remains steadfast in its commitment to enhancing the operational capabilities of the Somali Security Forces.
