Jowhar(Mogadishu24)-A Cargo plane carrying military consignment for the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia(ATMIS) has on Saturday crash landed at the Airport of Jowhar town, the administrative capital of Hirshabelle State in Somalia.

Both Hirshabelle State and ATMIS officials did not provide further details of the plane incident, cassualteis and causes of the problems in which it encountered during the landing so far.

But sources say the cargo plane flew from Entebe Airport in Uganda, carrying military consignment to the African Union Peacekeeping Troops based in Jowhar in Middle Shabelle region.

Mogadishu24 obtained photos of the plane crash-landed, laying at area outside the airport there and AU personnel were unloading something with white containers like socks
