Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Chinese Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa, Ambassador Xue Bing on Tuesday held separate meetings with the Prime Minister, and President of the Federal Government of Somalia on strengthening cooperation between the two countries and regional stability.“President @HassanSMohamud received the Chinese Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa, Ambassador Xue Bing, who conveyed a message from President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China. Both sides emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between the two countries according to a brief statement from office of the Prime Minister after the meeting.But sources said that the diplomat’s visit to Somalia is maintain peace and stability in the region, and Forum on Africa-China Cooperation which will be held in Beijing this year. He is also expected to pay visit to Ethiopia, Djibouti and Eritrea.
