Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Members of the Somalia’s Federal Parliament is on Monday expected to have a special session in which they will debate key issues including upcoming National Consultative Council in Garowe, Puntland State and the completion of the provisional constitution.

The lawmakers passed the procedure that would pave a way for amendments to be made into the constitution on January 2024, despite divisions members from the bicameral and rejections from opposition politicians.

It is not known what exactly will the Parliamenerians say about these two key issues.

But it comes a week after Puntland State President, Said Abdullahi Deni confirmed that Garowe will be hosting the National Consultative Meeting which will prioritize issue of common concerns including the latest developments in the region
