Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-At least five people were on Monday killed and others injured after landmine blast happened in Elwak district in Kenya at the border with Somalia.

Local authorities confirmed the dead incident in the city, but did not provide details about it, saying they would share the information to the public through the media later.

Al-Shabaab militants often carry out such attacks in Somalia and Kenya’s northers parts of the country, but the group did not comment on this yet so far.
