Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, announced Jabril Ibrahim Abdulle as the new Somali Ambassador to Kenya, following the end of the term of Ambassador Mohamud Ahmed Nur (Tarsan), who had served as Somalia’s Ambassador to Kenya since 2018.Earlier this month, a ceremonial event was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kenya to bid farewell to Ambassador Tarsan and commend his vital role in enhancing the bilateral relationship between the two nations throughout his tenure.Kenya’s President, William Ruto, invited Ambassador Mohamud Tarsan to the statehouse to recognize his exceptional service and tangible contributions to the development of Kenya-Somalia relations.“Kenya and Somalia are more than neighbours. For decades, we have worked together in the pursuit of peace and development for our nations and the region. We share deep cultural bonds with strong business links.
