Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre on Saturday received Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Somalia, Ahmed Mohamed Al-Mawlid and discussed on enhancing relations and cooperations in areas of investment opportunities.

Ambassador Al-Mawlid expressed his country’s readiness to invest in Somalia and extend support to Somalia towards carrying out various projects in the country, in particular, the Ambassador promised that his Government would take part the stabilization plan.

“The PM and the Ambassador deliberated on the humanitarian and developmental projects undertaken by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in Somalia, with a specific focus on supporting stabilisation programs”, Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement.

The Statement added The Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and their renewed commitment to upholding Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
