Somali President is his final leg to Zanzibar

Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Sunday held talks with Zanzibar counterpart, Hussein Ali Mwinyi in Zanzibar and discussed issues of mutual benefits between the two sides.

“President@HassanSMohamud meets with President Hussein Ali Mwinyi in Zanzibar to discuss enhancing cooperation between Somalia & Tanzania for mutual gains. Both leaders reaffirm their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties through collaborative efforts in various sectors”, Minister of Information of Somalia, Daud Aweis Jama said on X.

The meeting comes a day after the President Hassan participated the 60 anniversary of Tanzanian National in the commercial city of Dar es Salaam together with other leaders from the East Africa and then held separate meeting with President Samia Suluhu. This is the President Hassan’s first leg to Zanzibar.
