Kismayo(Mogadishu24)-Somali National Army backed by the U.S forces command on Monday killed four Al-Shabaab militants after conducting an operation at an area about 45 kilometers northeast of Kismayo, the administrative capital of Jubaland State.

The Somalia’s Ministry of Information said in a statement that the targeted militants were regrouping at the area during the operation, saying there were civilians causalities at all.

Al-Shabaab did not comment on the latest military operations in Jubaland State.

But this comes two days after Somali National Army with the support of International Partners killed 7 al-Shabab militants on Friday after carrying out an operation at Fidow area close to Mahaday district in Middle Shabelle in Southern Somalia.
