Hargeysa(Mogadishu24)-The Coast guards of the Breakaway, Somaliland on Sunday revealed that their forces siezed a boat and arrested 170 Ethiopian migrants heading to Yemen at the coastline area of Waqadariya in Sanag region during an operation.

The Coast guards said that those were both men and women and shared their photos of their social media platforms, adding that the forces increased their operation in the past two months.

These migrants are believed to be willing to cross the Red Sea line between Somalia’s Somaliland sea zone and Yemen which is short distance, then move to Saudi Arabia to fine better jobs, despite Saudi Arabia’s crackdown that often lead to such migrants to be sent home back.
