Hargeysa(Mogadishu24)-The Somaliland police have arrested a group of young thieves who killed 46-year-old Hassan Dacar on November 14, 2023, in the Masala neighbourhood of Hargeisa.

The suspects, Hamza Abdi Saleeban (23 years old) and Ayaanle Muhammed Hashi (22 years old), have been apprehended, according to the Somaliland Police Command.

The police reported that the suspects searched the deceased, Mohamud, and took his mobile phone after murdering him. The phone was used as evidence in the case.

Hassan Dacar, the deceased, was a taxi driver who met his death at the hands of the suspects, who pretended to be his clients.

The police revealed that the accused had also robbed and injured another victim, Mustafe Ali Abdullahi, a taxi driver, on November 3, 2023.

The incident occurred when the victim went with the accused to Sheikh Omar’s place in Hargeisa.
