Garowe(Mogadsihu24)-High level delegation from the sisterly country, Djibouti arrived in Garowe, the administrative capital of Puntland State in Somalia to attend the inauguration ceremony of Said Abdullahi Deni was re-elected as president in Puntland on January 8, 2024.

President Deni received Minister of religious affairs of Djibouti, Mumin Hassan Barre and its Ambassador to Somalia, Mohamed Rashid at his the State House overnight and their arrival is to congratulate and participate the inauguration which was planned to be held today in Garowe.

Former Somali Prime Ministers, Mohamed Hussein Roble, Hassan Ali Khaire, Abdiweli Ali Gaas and other politicians reached Garowe yesterday.

Galmdudug State Deputy President, Ali Dahir Eid and Hirshabelle State President, Ali Hussein Gudlawe are among the delegates who also reached Garowe and met President elect, Said Abdullahi Deni.

Somali President, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is expected to attend the ceremony, despite the conflict between Puntland State and the Federal Government of Somalia remains unsolved.
