Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Thursday sent Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Qattan, an advisor to the Royal Court to Somalia, Djibouti as well as South Sudan and countries in the Horn of Africa to deliver messages and invitations.

The Senior diplomat began his visit in Djibouti after departing from Juba, South Sudan where he held talks with Acting Foreign Minister and International Cooperation, Deng Dau Deng over Kingdoms World Expo 2030 and other high level conference due to be held in Riyadh.

In Djibouti, Mr. Qattan met President Ismael Omar Guelleh and conveyed invitations and massage of greetings from King, Salman bin Abdulaziz and then discussed issues of mutual interests between the two countries.

“The Republic of Djibouti and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoy special relationships, woven by the thread of history, belonging to the same region and sharing a common core of values and cultures”, President said

In Mogadishu, The Advisor to the Royal Court of Saudi Kingdom held talks with Somali President Hassan Sh. Mohamud at Villa Somalia.

“President Hassan Sh.Mohamud hosted the Special Envoy of the Royal Court of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Kattan, at the State House today. They discussed ongoing fight against terrorism & further strengthening the historic ties of brotherhood between Somalia and Saudi Arabia” Villa Somalia tweeted after the meeting.

The visit of Saudi Arabia Diplomat, Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan aimed at conveying invitations of high level summits to be held in Riyadh including Saudi-African and the fifth Arab-African Summits in the Kingdom this year.
