Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-UK and the European Union said Monday that they were working together to train Somali National Army and support the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia. “UK & EU are working together to train @SNAForce to help them take the fight to al-Shabaab & support the @ATMIS transition. These comments came as the UK Minister for Armed Forces, James Heappey MP, in a visit to the capital Mogadishu this week, in order, to reaffirm the UK’s commitment to defence and security cooperation with Somalia.
